I am with Keller Williams Elite Properties in Aventura and choose each year a group/cause to sponsor. This year we are putting together a fundraiser event for veterans that have been traumatized from the war and suffer from post traumatic stress disorder.
We have partnered up with Laney Rosenzweig, LMFT, a certified specialist from Connecticut, who has just received a $2.1 million dollar grant from the US Government to research, treat, and teach others on how to treat veterans with the post traumatic stress disorder. She will be flying in to treat veterans with PTSD for FREE!
We would love it if we could get in touch with you. 100% of the money raised goes to the troops and their treatment. The fundraiser will be in Aventura, Fl. this coming May 12, 2011.

Deborah, bless you for wanting to get into this work. Since you have PTSD, you will be one of the best people for the veterans to go to.

I'm doing a research paper on PTSD and EMDR with a emphasis on the military. Your Video touched my spirit and inspired me. I was diagnosed a year ago with PTSD. I'm hopeful that I can shed some light on such a hideous takeover of the human spirit. God Bless

Preciosa Rosita thank you very much. You are one of the reasons I do what I do. Wives should never have to feel alone or lost. We need as much support as they do because we are the ones they turn to the most. What we know can make them stronger and heal better but if we know nothing, we can make it all worse. Thank you again and for not giving up on your husband.

I am the 3rd wife (the others gave up) of a near 60 year old Nam Vet. We have been married 7 years now, and it os only very recently I have begun to understand why he can go from happy to full of rage in 0.01 seconds, why he has to have his back to the wall whenever we go out, why he is so angry if he is suddenly awoken, why he feels he needs to continually protect me. My increasing knowledge is due to sites like yours.......may the Lord truly bless you and the work you are doing. Thank you

Hi Desert Rat, it doesn't matter what country you risked your life in. You risked it FOR this one, for your family, your friends and your brothers. Vietnam vets risked their lives for the same things but were sent to Vietnam instead of Iraq and Afghanistan. The only difference between today's servicemen and women is that a lot of them were drafted and didn't have a choice. Even with that, they served with just as much courage as anyone else. I hope you heal. Email me if I can help. Namguardianangel@aol.com
